2009 Executive Networking Conference (ENC)

2009 Executive Networking Conference
Professional Development Series

"Seizing Business Opportunity Through
Innovation & Leadership"

April 2-4, 2009
The Carolina Hotel - 1 Carolina Vista Drive
Village of Pinehurst, NC 28374

The North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development ("the Institute") recognizes that minority-owned and women-owned businesses can provide dynamic economic growth opportunities for the State of North Carolina, and believes that by using comprehensive, multidisciplinary and interdependent strategies, productive outcomes for groups with limited resources can be achieved.

It is for that reason the Executive Networking Conference was started in the mid-1980s. Over the years the conference has established itself as the premier professional development and networking event in North Carolina; bringing together minority business entrepreneurs and corporate decision makers. The conference offers a relaxed, casual environment where cutting edge business concepts are discussed, new connections are made and existing relationships are strengthened.

In 2009 the Executive Networking Conference will continue its tradition of providing timely professional development by focusing on "Seizing Business Opportunity Through Innovation and Leadership".

Professional Development

Participants who attend the Executive Networking Conference reap invaluable benefits by taking advantage of the timely workshops, presentations and panel discussions that are offered throughout the event. Topics covered are tailored to reflect economic changes as well as current business trends. Discussions are facilitated by well respected and forward-thinking business and educational leaders.

Networking

Conference attendees benefit from the abundance of networking opportunities that are made available at the Executive Networking Conference. The casual and relaxed environment encourages participants to seek out new business connections and revitalize existing business relationships.

The North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development
is a statewide nonprofit organization representing the interest of underdeveloped and underutilized sectors of the state's economic base. The Institute's working philosophy is that--information and business development are critical to wealth creation and to building the asset base among low-wealth sectors of the population.

We specialize in:

  • assisting established businesses with our Minority Business Enterprise Center™;
  • helping women who are interested in starting a business or growing their business with our Women's Business Center of North Carolina;
  • providing financial and business education;
  • and working with partners to eliminate minority health issues that affect the workplace.
