When someone rejects you, disrespects you, puts you down, and or tells you to leave they want nothing to do with you do not take it personally because (barring ethics) what they are saying is they have no desire to change and grow into the person they need to become to maintain a relationship with you.
The business lesson: Business relationships fail by refusing to listen, mature, change and grow with their client - think Packard Bell, NCR, Etzel, Enron, etc
